The tiles industry has always been there for every construction firm not totally around the world but in some parts. It has made its way through their simple, unique, and outstanding designs. Tiles has been part of every structures. They have been the skin of every buildings and houses.

I remember during my younger years, I would always see tiles on every construction or hardware shops. Most of the owners would usually offer it cheaper than any other establishments who offers it and the designs and styles are somewhat typical during those days but most of them are durable. I think some of the people whom I know used tiles lasted for more than a decade or so.

Today, the tile industry goes well through time and through the development. They have learned to adapt on whatever trend is in. Kitchen Tiles are no longer used in kitchens but also in some part of the house as well. Of course this industry doesn’t only offers tiles for kitchen but also for comfort rooms, living room, dining area, lobby, and some other parts of the house or of the building. Designs are much more complicated and offer much more variety to choose from. Some of them even offers according to an individuals character and needs like the old fashion tiles or the new high end groovy ones with anime characters or some other known designs.

Perhaps whatever the era the tile industry will continue to evolve according to its present situation.

Office furniture is still needed in every business whether is online of offline. One example is the table, it is needed in business. It only proves professionalism if there were an office table present in a business. Besides a businessman cannot work very well if he doesn’t have any table at all. Even if the office is mobile or still, he or she does need a table to work on to.

In a traditional office, tables are often given to employees or bosses in accordance with the job specifications. Of course rank and file should have a table that is fit for their work and executives needs table that is elegant and professional enough to do business with other businessmen.

In an home-based office, though laptops or netbooks are used on laps still tables are needed. It is much easier to work on tables. There’s comfort and ease working on tables.

So, office furniture are really necessities in every business whether it’s business or not.

Of course when buying office furniture there are places where you can personally do the price checking, quality, and durability. Or if you don’t have the luxury of time to check on every establishment there are always sites and office furniture online reviews that you can check and read about.

Last year, December 27, Ken Brown posted on Adgitize’s blog that they will be closing and they regret that this instance happened.

It is indeed that the entire Adgitize members, publishers and advertisers, are shocked and wondering why would something like Adgitize will come to an end like this. Most of the members couldn’t believe though there were some indication last year that Ken himself have tried to explain that the incoming revenue is not that good compared to what they were paying for the members.

One of their promo, which was the intention was to attract more advertisers, was ended and the main reason was due to less revenue production. With the suspension of the promo more members did not renew their advertising. More reduction on members and revenue. Though this was instance was present on Adgitize, there were no solid indication about the closure.

Below is an excerpt of the post…

I regret to inform you that we are closing Adgitize. We have enjoyed working with all of you over the last 3 years and we hope that you have enjoyed our services. Adgitize tried to fill a niche market but the costs to run the business were more than the revenues generated. Here is what to expect over the next 30 days.

Beginning on December 27th, 2011, you will not be able to open any new accounts. We will shut down the ability to create or renew any ads. On January 1st, 2012, we will officially stop showing ads and all member publishers will NOT receive revenue for any Adgitize Ads shown. If you had an ad running with us we will refund a prorated portion of your ad price.

Prorated portion of ad price means if you have an ad running and it expires on January 15th, 2012 then we will send you a PayPal payment of 15/31st of the purchase price. If the purchase price was $14 then you will receive $6.77 USD from Adgitize. We expect to make all payments to refund advertisers fees by January 4th, 2012. If you want payment by check then you will have to wait until after the 12th of January before we send those payments out…

… I am sorry this is the decision we had to make and wish you the best in blogging for the new year and beyond.

I have been with Adgitize since 2008 and I became an advertiser since 2009. I have gained a lot from them. From traffic volume to online friends. Yes, I were able to made friends with other bloggers. Adgitize is not only an earning site but also as a hub to learn and share information.

I can also remember that Ken ask me if he can post my testimony on the testimonial page of the Adgitize. It was an extraordinary feeling seeing your testimony being read by most of the visitors of Adgitize.

Ken became a friend as well. He treat his clients very well. For sure I will miss Adgitize.

I was able to attend a virtual assistant seminar few months ago.  Not sure much of what I’m expecting but what I know it is an online job opportunity for people who would like to work at the comfort of their home.

So what is a virtual assistant? A virtual assistant is a staff who is not physically present but is able to do the tasks of being an assistant or secretary in an online environment.  To make it more simpler Virtual Assistant or VA which commonly called are an online staff that works for an employer.  It’s the same with the regular office, the only difference is the physical office environment.  VA’s work in the comfort of their home and some even work on hourly basis or per contract which also makes them bounded by the 8 – 5 working hours or depends on their employers demand.

Since the world is evolving and more people are getting into in depth journey into the realm of the internet.  Most employers are now looking for competent staff that will work for them without the hassle of a physical office environment.  Cost efficient and worth getting the best person in an online environment.

Becoming a virtual assistant requires knowledge on computer, internet, online admin works, SEO and of course knows how to at least blog or write.  These are some requirements of what the employers are looking for.

Basically, the virtual assistance and other online jobs are new industry, only few people knows about it, only few people knows how it works and only few people are employed in it.

Thinking of the current situation of Filipinos working abroad and leaving their family behind perhaps being a VA or engaging with online jobs can address the problem.  This means more happy time with the family.
